Dezső Kosztolányi poem
BREAKFAS IN AUTUMN
Look, what has brought the autumn.
Heavy grapes of sombre emerald,
Enormous pears of jasper coloured light,
A wealth, of lush and sparkling jewelry.
A dew drop trickles down,
And a plump grapes rolls away,
Like any precious stone,
Clean pomp, perfection.
Delighting solely in itself.
Better to live...
But already, in the distance,
The trees are calling me golden with hands..
